Adidas x Yeezy Runner Inspiration?

As we all seen earlier this year, Kanye West revealed his new Yeezy Season 5 and along with it came the noticeable Yeezy Runner. Now when this was first seen it had a lot of mixed reviews some thought it was fire and others thought it was straight up trash. But going through I found some previous Adidas releases that might've gave the designer a little inspiration.

Adidas 'Temper Run' Inspired by the running style of the 90's is made of closed mesh and layered with nubuck, leather, and suede accents. TPU 3 strips are seen on the side panels of the shoe representing the classic Adidas symbol. This one seems to have the most resemblance to the upcoming Yeezy Runner.

This one here is a simple throwback, almost 20 years since it's inital release, we can see certain similarities in the front design and the color design that can be compared to Kanye's.

Lastly, this being apart of the Adidas EQT family, has a similar style and look. Having the same leather and closed mesh style as the previous two. This once being the oldest of the clan really wasn't as popular as it's counter parts. Hopefully The Yeezy Runners make a bigger splash then this one.

We will never truly know what inspired Kanye's upcoming Yeezy Runners but rumor has it they will be releasing sometime later in 2017 or beginning of 2018. Either way, only time will tell.
