According to multiple sneaker sources Drake is "far along" in negotiations with Adidas. The sources are stating that Drake is unhappy with his deal with Nike because he lacks creative control.
Drake first struck up his partnership with Nike in December 2013. Since he's released countless sneakers as well as apparel that featured his signature OVO and Owl. He solidified the dead with multiple mentions in songs such as Jumpman featuring Rapper Future as well as What A Time To Be Alive.
The deal with Adidas is reportedly on its way to closing and would add Drizzy to the family that includes Pharell Williams and Kanye West.
